Ring avenue with all its famous historical buildings and monuments, we take you to the well known Danube Tower. From its terrace, 150 m above the roofs of Vienna, you can admire the marvellous panorama of our city.

Wolf Science Center, Ernstbrunn

The WSC is a research center and exceptional wolf keeping facility located at the Ernstbrunn Wildpark. The wolves are hand-raised by scientists and therefore have a close and trustful working relationship with them. They regularly participate in cooperative and cognitive tasks to study their mental abilities and to keep them physically and mentally busy. During the guided tour you can see the wolves in interaction with their raisers and with each other, and you can talk to the researchers working here.

Konrad Lorenz Research Station, Grünau im Almtal

Konrad Lorenz chose once this beautiful valley of the Alm to retire here with his semitame flock of greylag geese. 
Today his house is inhabited by students and researchers studying the social dynamics and behaviour of the geese and other birds. Free-flying geese and northern bald ibises feed in front of the house, and ravens and jackdaws live in aviaries in the garden as well as at the nearby Cumberland Game Park. Researchers who raised and study the animals will guide you around in this beautiful region of Austria.

Konrad Lorenz Institute for Evolution and Cognition Research, Altenberg and boat trip on the Danube in Wachau

The trip combines a guided tour at the Konrad Lorenz Institute and a boat trip on the Danube to Wachau. The KLI is an international center for advanced studies in theoretical biology, and it is located in Altenberg, in the family mansion of Konrad Lorenz. A colleague of the institute will guide you around in Konrad Lorenz's library and will show you his Nobel Prize medal.
